Very small tear, straight across. Can easily be mended on the back side. Again, I chose to not alter the paintings or the canvas in any way. Only 4 of the canvases have a small tear (ranging 1/2-2 inches) this is specified in the gallery.

Some paintings would do well with a few minor paint touch-ups here and there. Some could also benefit from a clear coat of gloss to freshen up the paint. As mentioned before, I have chosen not to alter the paintings in any way.

Many of the canvases were in frames. Due to age, most of the frames will require a new brackets on the back to hold the canvas in place. The canvas does not wrap to the back of the frame, rather it is attached to the sides.

Frames have been removed due to shipping costs. Pictures of the frames are available upon request and can be purchased separately. Frames will be available at the in-person gallery show May 16th.

Paintings posted in frames are available with or with out the frame. Please keep in mind this will alter the cost of shipping. 

There is a DIY frame kit available on Amazon specifically for canvas art if you are interested. 

How does the auction work?

First, you will need to make a Disqus account in order to comment in the gallery. Offers will be made in this comment section. Here is a link to create a free account:

Second, when the auction opens On May 1st at 9:30 am PST you may comment your offer under the painting that speaks to you. There will be 4 days of open auction so make sure to check in regularly to see how your offer is doing! 

Finally, once the auction closes at 11:59 pm PST on May 4th, the highest offer will be contacted within 1-2 business days. The client will have 5 days to respond or the painting will go to the second highest offer.

International Shipping costs may range from $90USD-$500USD
